Made these shortly after art school. Probably the last objects I ever made that might be called art (rather than a doodle, illustration, cartoon, etc). I remember experiencing a feeling of guilty pleasure while producing them, improvising weird forms out of modest materials (everything you make in art school has to be big and expensive) without giving any thought to how they might be "read." Little did I know how far I would slip in the next few years!
