My dad's written another kids' book. I illustrated his last one (badly) when I was around 20, and I'm gonna do this one too (hopefully better). Here's one of the sample illustrations.

Ha, that looks fun. Has a bit of a Seuss vibe going on with the kiddies. I like the cat a lot. I hear illustrating a book is mighty hard work.
Hope to see more later!
Thanks, jennifer. The vibe is probably more Seuss via Chuck Jones. The cat is basically my cat Sukie.
As for putting up more, I dunno. Not sure about the legalities involved (though I figured one couldn't hurt!). Do you know anything about this?
Dang, I don't know anything about that. I wasn't really thinking. Would like to see the finished product tho!
Scott just did the illos for a new Flanker Press book, What Colour is the Sky? It turned out pretty good, has a painterly, realistic look.
Cool. Any of that up on his site?
